LFA T’ai Chi Group
The evening classes are held each Monday 4.30 – 5.30 pm and 7.00pm – 8.00pm (excepting bank holidays). They are suitable for men and women of all ages, pure beginners and improvers.
Come and enjoy the health benefits of exercise without strain, learning the peaceful art of T’ai Chi, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Soft flexible shoes, loose fitting clothing and a smile are all that you need.
Students learn how to let go of stress and tension, build vitality and increase energy levels. T’ai Chi consists of a series of slow, graceful movements that gently aid mobility, suppleness and flexibility of the joints; it also calms the mind.
People with breathing related ailments such as asthma find benefit from our disciplined breathing techniques.
Our T’ai Chi exercises the brain as well as every part of the body, improving concentration, balance and co-ordination.
For those who live a stressful life, T’ai Chi helps to calm both the mind and body, promoting a deeper and more restful sleep.
The Lee Family Arts (LFA) style of T’ai Chi is a ‘yin and yang’ style which is in complete balance and harmony. The Form we teach is a health art, based on the principles of Chinese medicine.
T’ai Chi teaches how to use the body’s natural internal energy (Chi) to keep it flowing freely and increase vitality.
If you, a friend or relative are looking for peace of mind, greater energy and zest for life, why not come along and find out for yourself how good you can feel.
